COLUMBUS, Neb. -- Crews will start work on a transmission line in Columbus next week.

Nebraska Public Power District announced that they will start working on a transmission line that runs along 3rd Ave., south of Highway 30, on Oct. 23.

Traffic flow could be impacted in the south bound lanes and large equipment pieces will be used at the time. 

The work is estimated to take around three weeks to compete and will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
