Schuyler man to serve up to 10 years in prison for sex offenses
A 24-year-old Schuyler man has been sentenced to prison for sexual assault and other charges.
By News Channel NebraskaSCHUYLER, Neb. -- A 24-year-old Schuyler man has been sentenced to prison for sexual assault and other charges.
The Colfax County Court said that Celvin Lopez Cabrera is to serve five to 10 years at the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services.
Lopez Cabrera was sentenced for first-degree sexual assault, possession of visually explicit material depicting a child, and solicitation of an individual under 18 years old.
On Jan. 26, the Schuyler Police Department arrested Lopez Cabrera for sex trafficking of a minor, sexual assault, pandering, child pornography, visually explicit depiction and enticement of a child, and solicitation involving four children ages 14 to 17.
