Authorities arrest two Polk County residents after seizing over 800 grams of meth
Authorities said they arrested two people in Polk County for drug related charges on Thursday.
COLUMBUS, Neb. -- Authorities said they arrested two people in Polk County for drug related charges on Thursday.
Polk County Sheriff's Office reported that the SNARE Drug Task Force, the Columbus Police Department, and the Nebraska State Patrol served a search warrant at a residence in Polk County.
Officials said they arrested 57-year-old Daniel Brewer and 46-year-old Annie McCoy after searching the home.
During the search, law enforcement said they found over 850 grams of methamphetamine.
Brewer was arrested for distribution of an exceptionally hazardous drug, possession of an exceptionally hazardous drug with intent, possession of drug funds, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
McCoy was arrested for possession of an exceptionally hazardous drug and possession of a drug paraphernalia.
Polk County Sheriff's Office said that Polk Sheriff Ladwig assisted and played an important role in the investigation.
