FREMONT, Neb. -- Among the areas hit hardest by severe weather on Friday night was Dodge County.

Fremont, and the surrounding rural areas, got hammered by high winds, heavy rains, some hail, and suspected tornado activity.

Barns, trees, houses, and farm fields all suffered damages, while several area streets took on flash flooding.

East central Nebraska was among the las areas hit by the evening storms, but it was one of the longest-affected areas, with tornado warnings lasting for over an hour.
