Multiple drugs found in Columbus man's home

A Columbus man was arrested last week after several drugs were reportedly found in his home.

COLUMBUS, Neb. -- A Columbus man was arrested last week after several drugs were reportedly found in his home.

The Nebraska State Patrol said they used a search warrant at a home in the 600 block of 30th Ave. in Columbus. 

Officials said they found several controlled substances, including cocaine, methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms, and THC. They also reportedly found a firearm.

According to authorities, the man was 25-year-old Juan Renteria, of Columbus. Renteria was lodged in the Platte County Jail for possession of controlled substances, distribution of controlled substances, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
