Brother of Chiefs QB Mahomes arrested on sexual battery charges

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is facing sexual battery charges after an early-morning arrest on Wednesday.

Jackson Mahomes was arrested in Kansas at approximately 7:00 a.m. He faces three felony counts of aggravated sexual battery and one battery charge.

As of Wednesday morning, the 22-year-old was being held on $100,000 bond with a Wednesday afternoon court appearance on the Johnson County Court schedule.

The charges are related to an alleged February incident.

Mahomes, who is well-known on social media, is frequently seen on the sidelines of Chiefs games.
