No injuries in Columbus fire

There were no injuries reported in a Columbus fire on Saturday morning.

COLUMBUS, Neb. -- There were no injuries reported in a Columbus fire on Saturday morning.

The City of Columbus said they received a report of a fire around 10:00 a.m. on Saturday a the 1100 block of 5th St.

Officials said an apartment complex had a fire that was in the floor and walls between the first and second floors. The fire reportedly extended into the second floor and attic.

According to authorities, there were no injuries and the American Red Cross helped with the 20 residents that were at the complex.
