DAVID CITY, Neb. -- A museum in Butler County received a special donation this week.

A 1923 Ford Model T was donated to the Bone Creek Museum in David City on Monday.

The car's owner, Dewain Wood, bought the car in 1952 when he was a sophomore in high school for $35.

The museum is in the process of changing its location to the Ford Building in town, which used to be a Ford Dealership.

Wood told NCN the historical significance of the donation.

"It reminds people of how important history is and this car is no exception," he said. "Model t's were a part of this country and a part of building this country."

The car does not run anymore, according to Wood.

Once the new museum opens, the car will be placed in the main window for onlookers to see.
