Moser advances comfortably in primary, will face Zach in general election

A Nebraska legislative incumbent from Columbus garnered overwhelming support in the District 22 primary Tuesday night.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A Nebraska legislative incumbent from Columbus garnered overwhelming support in the District 22 primary Tuesday night.

Mike Moser tallied 76 percent of the vote, followed by Roy Zach of Genoa, who collected 13 percent of the ballots cast.

Moser and Zach will square off in the November primary. Mike Goos of Columbus will not advance to the general election after finishing third with 11 percent of the vote.

The 70-year-old Moser has been serving in the Legislature since 2019.
