LINCOLN, Neb. -- A Columbus woman is facing charges after reportedly cutting her boyfriend's face.

Court records show officers responded to a disturbance call in Lincoln on Sunday.

A 45-year-old man was found bleeding and hiding from his girlfriend, authorities said.

The man's roommate says he saw 27-year-old Shyanna Esparza punch the man and hold him at knifepoint.

Esparza was arrested and charged with using a deadly weapon to commit a felony and first-degree false imprisonment.

She was held in the Lancaster County Jail.
