COLUMBUS, Neb. -- A new location is in the works for a Columbus-area coffee shop.

The Broken Mug has signed a five-year lease with the city of Columbus for a space in the new Columbus Community Building.

This will be their third location since beginning operations in 2017.

The downtown location will be serving hot, iced and frozen drinks.

In addition, there will be baked goods made fresh daily.

The Columbus City Council approved the lease agreement at their Monday meeting.
