Omaha man dies in motorcycle crash near Scribner

An Omaha man has died after a motorcycle accident in northeast Nebraska.

SCRIBNER, Neb. -- An Omaha man has died after a motorcycle accident in eastern Nebraska.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened Saturday on Highway 275 just north of Scribner.

Authorities say the driver, 65-year-old Randal Gottsch, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed.

He was taken to a hospital in West Point, where he died from his injuries.

The accident was investigated by the Dodge County Sheriff's Office and the Nebraska State Patrol.
