The Nebraska Public Power District has entered a multi-million dollar settlement with the family of a man killed during the March 2019 flooding in Nebraska.

On Wednesday, the Nebraska Public Power District entered a settlement of $2.5 million with Linda Angel and the Estate of Kenneth Angel settling the suit filed against NPPD in Holt County.

According to a statement made by NPPD, the settlement is not an admission of liability.

Kenneth Angel was killed on March 14th, 2019 as flood-waters destroyed the Spencer Dam, his home, and a family-owned bar.

NPPD says they will have no further comment regarding the settlement.
