El Patron celebrates six months

SCHUYLER -- A Mexican restaurant in Schuyler is coming up on its first six-month anniversary this week.

Twenty-nine-year-old Angela Hernandez reports business at El Patron has been great since she opened, thanks to community and Chamber of Commerce support.

Hernandez grew up helping her parents out of their taco truck but decided she wanted to offer the city more.

They also offer fajita dinners and are known for cocktails.
