LINCOLN - While vaccines are rolling out and new infections are beginning to plummet, officials are warning people not to let down their guard- even if they are vaccinated

The Nebraska Department of Health Services confirmed today that a woman in Nebraska who was previously vaccinated has died of COVID-19.

Officials say the woman was 80 years old and had underlying health conditions.

Officials say out of the 2,244 people who have died from covid-19 in Nebraska, only one has died after being vaccinated - making the figure zero point zero four of all deaths.
