COLUMBUS - After more than a year of anticipation the Columbus Police Department has its new home.

CPD completed its move to the 26,321-square-foot facility on the corner of 14th St. and 23rd Ave. on Monday.

The new building sits just down the street from 2419 14th St., where the department had been housed since 1993.

The city intended to hold an open house for the community on April 6th, but that has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
