COLUMBUS - If you're a driver in Columbus, beware: Police will ticket you for running a red light.

CPD said they've begun a selective traffic enforcement campaign.  A police spokesman said officers are staking out at intersections in unmarked vehicles and that they will cite anyone they see violation traffic signals.

They said this is in response to the many complaints they've received from the community about about drivers disobeying traffic lights.

The campaign goes through February.
