COLUMBUS - A plan to bring a Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers is one step closer to becoming reality.

On Monday, the Columbus Planning Commission unanimously approved the proposal, which would put the restaurant along 23rd Street.  It would be part of the second phase of the WHO Development Redevelopment Project.

The plan will now go before the city council on Monday, which will include a public hearing.

If approved, it would then go to the mayor's desk.
