Brush authorities investigating deceased person found in car lot

BRUSH, Colo. -- Brush Police officers were called to a suspicious incident Monday. 

An unknown deceased person was discovered inside a motor vehicle in a tow lot. The incident occurred in the 700 block of East Edison. 

With the assistance of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, Morgan County Coroner’s Office, and the 13th District Attorney’s Office, a search warrant was acquired, and a search warrant was obtained and the body was removed from the vehicle.  It was determined to be an unidentified female. 

The case is still under investigation.
