Brush authorities investigating deceased person found in car lot

BRUSH, Colo. -- Brush Police officers were called to a suspicious incident Monday. 

An unknown deceased person was discovered inside a motor vehicle in a tow lot. The incident occurred in the 700 block of East Edison. 

With the assistance of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, Morgan County Coroner’s Office, and the 13^th District Attorney’s Office, a search warrant was acquired, and a search warrant was obtained and the body was removed from the vehicle.  It was determined to be an unidentified female. 

The case is still under investigation.
