Visit Nebraska announces 70 stops for 2026 Passport program
70 destinations across the state for this year’s travel program running May 1 through Sept. 30
Press release
LINCOLN, Neb. — Visit Nebraska has announced the stops included in the 2026 Nebraska Passport program, which encourages residents and out-of-state visitors to explore destinations across the state.
The Nebraska Passport is the state tourism office’s in-state marketing program, designed to promote travel to local attractions, shops and restaurants.
“The Nebraska Passport is our signature in-state marketing program, and it’s one of the most fun things we do all year,” said Jenn Gjerde, executive director of Visit Nebraska. “It’s designed specifically to encourage Nebraskans to explore their own backyard, to take a day trip, try somewhere new and support the small businesses and communities that make this state special.”
According to Visit Nebraska, travelers logged more than 147,000 digital stamps during last year’s program.
The 2026 Passport features 70 stops divided into 10 themed tours. Participants can visit attractions and collect stamps from May 1 through Sept. 30. Prizes are awarded based on the number of stamps collected.
The program also includes the Nebraska Passport Pals Facebook group, where nearly 6,000 members share travel tips and photos.
2026 themed tours:
Adventure Algorithm
Book It & Look It
Downtown Charm Alarm

This year’s tours highlight historical sites in recognition of America’s 250th anniversary, outdoor attractions, downtown businesses and food and drink destinations.
A kickoff event for the 2026 Passport season will be held May 1 at the Museum of American Speed, 599 Oak Creek Drive in Lincoln. Additional details are expected to be announced.
Passport booklets will be available at participating stops beginning May 1 or can be pre-ordered at NebraskaPassport.com. Participants may also use the Nebraska Passport mobile app to collect digital stamps. The app will update with 2026 program information on May 1.
