Kimball County first responders receive Life Saving Award

KIMBALL -- The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office presented Life Saving Awards to Kimball County first responders at the County Commissioners Meeting Tuesday morning.
The award symbolizes gratitude toward the first responders for going above and beyond the call of duty during an incident January 6.
Authorities are not releasing details about the incident but say that the emergency services involved in the particular call saved the life of Nicholas Bowles.
Those who received an award were Kimball EMS crew Heather Johnson, Alicia Downey and Mandy Rosales, Bushnell Volunteer firefighters Randy Modlin, Mark Ohlsson, Robert Easley and Brandie Waselewski, Deputy Mike Youngquist, and dispatcher Joanna Hottell.
“I think it’s important for the community to know that our first responders all work together as a team, we had the best possible outcome, and everybody’s response was outstanding,” said Sheriff David Hottell.
