American Automobile Experience now open 7 days a week
KEARNEY, Neb. — The American Automobile Experience is now welcoming visitors seven days a week.
The expanded hours, from noon to 5 p.m. daily, make it easier for car enthusiasts and families to explore the museum’s collection.
The expanded schedule marks a return to pre-pandemic operations and comes just weeks after Josh Sikes stepped into his new role as general manager. Sikes says increasing accessibility for visitors was an early priority.
“We wanted to become open seven days again and make ourselves available,” said Sikes. “The volunteers and staff have been amazing in making this happen.”
The museum features 50,000 square feet of exhibit space and more than 170 vehicles, ranging from rare muscle cars and customs to rotating specialty collections.
Highlights include rare Baldwin Motion Chevelles, Hemi convertibles and other well-known collections that change throughout the year.
Sikes added that the museum is always looking for additional volunteers to help.
