Two injured in vehicle-pedestrian crash in Sterling parking lot
STERLING, Colo. - Two people were injured Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle in a parking lot in Sterling, according to the Sterling Police Department.
Police said officers responded to a vehicle-versus-pedestrian incident in a parking lot, where a driver unintentionally struck two coworkers while maneuvering through the area. Early indications from investigators suggest the driver was not paying attention at the time of the crash.
Both injured individuals were transported to Sterling Regional Medical Center, where medical staff were evaluating the extent of their injuries. Police did not release information on the victims’ conditions.
