SIDNEY -- Raymond A Borges, 55, of Lodgepole, is scheduled for his Preliminary Hearing 8:45 a.m. December 30 in Cheyenne County Court.  

He is facing charges of Second Degree Assault (Class 2A Felony), Terroristic Threats (Class 3A Felony) and False Imprisonment (Class 3A Felony). 

He was arraigned December 8 with bond set at $100,000/10 percent. 

He was arrested December 5 by authorities after reports he and his girlfriend got into a “confrontation” December 4. According to court records, a deputy was contacted by Borges’ girlfriend’s sister. Court documents say Borges struck the victim multiple times with a drill.  Records also show that Borges grabbed her car keys as she tried to leave.  

She got her keys from Borges’ mother and drove herself to a nearby hospital where she was treated.
