CERESCO, Neb. - Two people are dead after a crash Sunday in eastern Nebraska.

The Saunders County Sheriff’s Office says a motorcycle driven by 65-year-old Daniel Gaunt of St. Edward, with passenger Helen Rosso, was heading north on Highway 77 near Ceresco when a pickup pulled out in front of them.

The motorcycle hit the passenger side of the truck. Gaunt and Rosso both died at the scene.

The pickup driver was not injured. Authorities have not said whether any citations will be issued.
