KIMBALL, Neb. - Authorities arrested a 45-year-old Kimball man following an investigation involving child sexual abuse material on Friday, according to the Kimball Police Department.

Police said the investigation began on Nov. 21, when officers opened a case involving a Kimball resident. After gathering additional information, investigators established probable cause to arrest Kenny Rogers, 45.

Rogers was taken into custody and charged with violating Nebraska Revised Statute 28-1803, which covers possession or receipt of child sexual abuse material.

The department emphasized all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Officials also noted the information released is preliminary and may change as the investigation continues.

No further information will be released at this time, police said, in order to protect the integrity of the case.
