LOS ANGELES - Top-ranked Nebraska improved to 25-0 with a 3-1 win over UCLA on Friday night, taking the match 25-17, 25-23, 19-25, 25-15 at Pauley Pavilion before a record-setting crowd of 10,498.

The victory ended Nebraska’s streaks of 48 straight sets won and 15 consecutive sweeps, but the Huskers responded with a dominant fourth set to move to 15-0 in Big Ten play. UCLA fell to 14-11 and 8-7 in conference action.

Andi Jackson tied her season high with 15 kills and hit .625 with no errors. Harper Murray finished with 14 kills, and Rebekah Allick added 13 kills on .440 hitting with seven blocks. Taylor Landfair recorded five kills and six blocks, while Virginia Adriano and Allie Sczech each had two kills.

Setter Bergen Reilly posted 34 assists and 11 digs, helping the Huskers hit .299. It was her sixth double-double of the season. UCLA hit .221 and outdug Nebraska 59-48, marking the first time the Huskers were outdug this year.

Nebraska finished with a 10-7 edge in blocks and committed just 12 attack errors, compared to 25 by UCLA.

The Huskers controlled the first set and rallied from an early deficit to win the second. UCLA used a late run to take the third before Nebraska responded with its strongest set of the night to close out the match.

Nebraska continues its West Coast trip Sunday at No. 17 USC.
