LINCOLN, Neb. - Freeman has a chance to win their first state championship since 2014.
The Falcons swept Yutan (25-21, 25-12, 25-14) to advance to the C2 State Championship game. The Falcons were led in kills by Addison Otto hitting .524. Brecken Albers Dorn and Alicia Johansen also reached double figures with 10 kills.
As a group, the Falcons hit .348, holding the Chieftains to .132. The Falcons also had a 66.7% side out.
The Falcons return to the state title for the first time since 2014. The match is set for 1:00 p.m. and can be heard on 94.7 FM/1450 AM KWBE.
