SIDNEY -- The case against Justin Kettle has been bound over to Cheyenne County District Court.

His next court case, in Cheyenne County District Court, is set for 1:30 p.m. December 3.

Kettle faced charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, 140 grams or more, and No Drug Tax in Cheyenne County Court. On October 30, he case was bound over to District Court.

Kettle was arrested October 6 with Harley Becker and Alycia Prince by Sidney Police. Meth was discovered in their vehicle during a traffic stop. In a search of the vehicle, officers found three backpacks. Kettle admitted one of the backpacks was his. According to court records, the backpack contained drug paraphernalia, a plastic water bottle tested to be presumptive positive for methamphetamine.

He was arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine 140+ grams, Possession of a Controlled Substance, No Drug Tax and Possession or Use of Drug Paraphernalia. 

Prince was arrested for felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with a $5,000 bond.  On October 20, a bench warrant was issued and her bond was reset to $15,000.

Harley Becker

Also in the vehicle in October, Harley Becker case for felony Possession of a Controlled Substance was bound over October 20 to Cheyenne County District Court. 

He agreed to a plea agreement on November 4 where he pleas guilty, or no contest, to one count of Attempted Possession of a Controlled Substance -- Methamphetamine, a Class 1 Misdemeanor. All remaining charges are dismissed. He was sentenced to 33 days, time already served in Cheyenne County Jail.
