DONIPHAN, Neb. — One person has died following an accident involving a semi-truck.

It happened just after 6:30 Monday morning on Highway 281, about a mile south of Doniphan. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office says 31-year-old Sabian Salais of Hastings was driving north in a Jeep and hit the rear end of a semi. An ambulance transported Salais to a local hospital where he died. The semi driver wasn’t hurt.

A Hall County accident reconstructionist is still investigating the crash.
