LINCOLN - The No. 1 Nebraska volleyball team extended its unbeaten streak to 22 matches with a straight-set win over Oregon on Sunday, defeating the Ducks 25-21, 25-20, 25-12 before 8,495 fans at the Bob Devaney Sports Center’s John Cook Arena.

The Huskers (22-0, 12-0 Big Ten) hit .405 as a team while holding Oregon to just .162. The win marked Nebraska’s 13th consecutive sweep and its 40th straight set victory.

Junior outside hitter Taylor Landfair led Nebraska with 10 kills on .400 hitting, while freshman Harper Murray added nine kills, nine digs, and an ace. Virginia Adriano was dominant at the net, finishing with eight kills on .500 hitting and three blocks. Rebekah Allick and Andi Jackson chipped in five kills each, combining for eight total blocks.

Setter Bergen Reilly distributed 26 assists and added five digs, while libero Laney Choboy tallied five digs and six assists. Olivia Mauch and Teraya Sigler each contributed five digs defensively.

Nebraska edged Oregon 39-35 in kills, 9-3 in blocks, and 32-28 in digs.

After trading points early in the first two sets, the Huskers used key scoring runs late to pull ahead. In the third, Nebraska hit a blistering .500 with 15 kills to close out the match in commanding fashion.

The Huskers return to action Thursday when they host Illinois at 7 p.m. at John Cook Arena.
