The Potter-Dix football team has wrapped up their season following a loss to Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Friday afternoon. The #11 seeded 5-3 coyotes scored on their first kick-off return of the game but wouldn't score again until the fourth quarter against the 6-2 #6 seed S.E.M.

S.E.M. did not punt in the game. The scored a touchdown on every drive and converted every extra point try.

Potter-Dix had some great plays including a long run by junior John Dhooge that set the coyotes up at the S.E.M. 5 yard line before a drive ending turnover. Senior Kolby Labeau also found success running up the middle and fellow senior Landon Gasseling had a touchdown reception late to cap another solid game for him. It was Callen McConnell who scored the special teams touchdown early, before lining up at quarterback to orchestrate a number of solid drives for the coyotes.

Ultimately, the coyotes fell to the mustangs 62-14.

Potter-Dix loses five seniors including Dylan Tabor who served as quarterback of the team for all four years of his high school career until he was lost to injury earlier this season.
