BRIDGEPORT - The Bridgeport Bulldogs closed out their regular season with a dominant performance, sweeping Hay Springs behind 11 ace serves in their final home match before postseason play begins in Class C1.

Senior Fallon DeBlois led all players with 9 kills, while fellow senior Kendal Deaver followed closely with 8 kills, 3 ace serves, and a block.

Senior Jailyn Nichols also contributed with 6 kills, 2 aces, and a block.

Bridgeport finished the match with 27 kills on 22 assists, 11 aces, and 3 blocks in a complete team effort.

Hay Springs was paced by sophomore Devyn Young, who recorded 6 kills and an ace. Senior Julia Russell added 5 kills and 2 blocks for the Hawks, who finished with 15 kills, 17 assists, 4 aces, and 4 blocks.

With the win, Bridgeport improves to 11-13 and now awaits its postseason matchup in the Class C1, Region 4. Hay Springs falls to 19-8 and will prepare for Sub-District play in the D2-12 bracket.
