DALTON – Senior Macie Roelle recorded her 500th career dig Tuesday night, leading Leyton in a home triangular against Minatare and Creek Valley. The Warriors finished 1-1 on the evening, sweeping Creek Valley 2-0 and falling to Minatare in three sets.

Roelle’s milestone came with a standout performance, as she also tallied 12 kills, 3 ace serves, and 8 assists. Sophomore Auvi Cranmore added 17 assists, 2 ace serves, and a block to help power Leyton’s offense.

As a team, the Warriors combined for 26 kills, 27 assists, 10 ace serves, and one block across both matches.

Minatare emerged as the only undefeated team of the night, going 2-0 with wins over both Creek Valley and Leyton. Sophomore Madeleine Ramirez-Camargo led the Indians with 12 kills, 2 ace serves, and a block. Liyah Janis added 9 kills, 4 blocks, and an ace, while Zoe Pedotto contributed 5 kills, 2 aces, and a match-high 28 assists.

The Indians posted a dominant stat line with 36 kills, 32 assists, 14 ace serves, and 5 blocks.

Creek Valley was led by senior Jeryn Snell, who notched 8 kills, a block, and an assist. Sophomore Aivree Bauer added 3 kills and 6 assists as the Storm finished with 15 kills, 14 assists, 3 ace serves, and 2 blocks on the night.

With the results, Minatare improves to 8-13 and will host Hay Springs (16-6) on Thursday. Leyton moves to 6-16 and will host Garden County (20-3) and South Platte (6-17) next Tuesday in another triangular. Creek Valley falls to 1-18 and travels to Potter on Friday to face the Coyotes (5-18).
