HASTINGS, Neb.— A Pennsylvania man is in custody after a high-speed pursuit in Central Nebraska.

Antonio Lindsay, 58, of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, was taken into custody just after 12 a.m. Friday. 

Around 9:30 Thursday night, Nebraska State Patrol received information that Lindsay was being sought by Pennsylvania law enforcement was believed to be traveling through Nebraska in a Mercedes SUV.

A trooper located the vehicle at a gas station near the Alda exit off of I-80. Authorities say the trooper attempted to approach the vehicle, before Lindsay drove away, ripping a fuel hose away from the vehicle. 

Nebraska State Patrol said Lindsay fled southbound on Alda Road, with speeds above 120 miles per hour. Lindsay then drove into a corn field and fled on foot. 

Additional troopers, personnel and K9 units responded with thermal drones locating Lindsay. 

He is being held in Adams County Jail with a long list of charges, including flight to avoid arrest, willful reckless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia and many others. Lindsay was also wanted in Pennsylvania for aggravated assault and other charges.

Dates of initial hearings are yet to be determined.
