HASTINGS, Neb. – A well-known Hastings restaurant is in its final days of operations after announcing its abrupt closure on Thursday.

Just under four years after opening its doors in the Cimarron Plaza, Blue Fork Kitchen announced on social media that they are closing their doors for good this Saturday, Oct. 11.

"While we've cherished every moment with our guests, we haven't consistently had enough people in our doors to continue operating sustainably. Making this decision was incredibly difficult, but if feels right to close on a positive note, celebrating the memories we've shared." said Blue Fork Owner Jamey Hamburger in their official announcement.

While Blue Fork is saying farewell, their sister restaurant Odyssey will remain open, and will accept Blue Fork gift cards there.
