Troopers find nearly 100 pounds of Ketamine in I-80 traffic stop
NORTH PLATTE, Ne. -- Nebraska State Patrol troopers arrested one person after finding nearly 100 pounds of Ketamine during a traffic stop on Interstate 80.
At about 11:25 a.m. Thursday, a trooper saw a westbound Hyundai Tucson speeding on I-80 near North Platte, at mile marker 179.
During the traffic stop, the trooper observed THC vape cartridges inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed numerous vacuum sealed bags of suspected Ketamine. The bags were contained inside suitcases in the trunk of the vehicle.
The weight of the Ketamine was 98 pounds. Troopers also found more than $4,600 in cash in the vehicle.
The driver, Trevor Frisby, 28, of Wilmington, N.C., was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession. With Intent to Deliver, and Possession of Money During a Drug Violation. He was lodged in Lincoln County Jail.
