Kinkaider Brewing opens Monday in Kearney with new taproom at Younes Landing
KEARNEY, Neb. - Kinkaider Brewing Company is preparing to officially open its newest location at Younes Landing in Kearney.
The Nebraska-based brewery hosted a series of soft openings this week to give staff practice and offer customers an early look.
The taproom officially opens Monday, Oct. 6, with regular hours set for 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Kinkaider was founded in Broken Bow in 2014 and has since expanded with locations in Lincoln and Omaha, along with its Sideshow Spirits distillery. The Kearney taproom marks the company’s fifth location.
"The crowd in Kearney is always growing, It's a central place for a lot of workforce for everything, and we felt like it would be a great place to tie our roots to," said Back of House Manager Austin Fox.
"It's a great spot, especially right off the interstate," added Assistant General Manager Claire Choplin. "We're getting a little bit of the locals as well as a little bit of people passing through."
Officials also pointed to the chance to design and build a new space from the ground up as a reason for Kearney's selection for a new location.
Customers can expect some of Kinkaider’s signature promotions, including Tumbler Tuesday discounts, with a beer club also planned for the Kearney location.
