MADISON, Neb. - A Nebraska man is in jail accused of sexually assaulting two children over the course of seven years. 
 
Robert Aue Jr., 43, of Dix is charged in two separate counties for a total of six counts of sexual assault of a child. 
 
The most recent charges are in Madison County. According to official court documents, Aue allegedly sexually assaulted a teenage victim four times in Newman Grove from August 2017 to January 2018.  The victim was 14 and 15 years old at the time.
 
A warrant was issued for Aue in June and charges were filed on Monday.
 
Aue currently has an active case in Lincoln County from 2024. He has pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual assault of a child.
 
In an affidavit from August 2024, the victim reports Aue sexually assaulted her four times that April when she was 9-years-old. 
 
Aue was questioned in September 2024 and admitted to sexually assaulting the 9-year-old twice in his garage in North Platte. He admitted to paying her $20 each time, according to the affidavit. 
 
The affidavit says Aue also confessed to sexually assaulting the teenage girl. He also admitted he had child pornography on several devices featuring children over the age of seven, but said he has since deleted it.
 
Aue was first lodged in the Lincoln County Jail in 2024. He is currently being housed in the Madison County Jail until his hearing on September 23 is complete.
 
Aue also has a hearing in Lincoln County on October 6.
