LINCOLN, Neb. - As neat of an experience as playing in front of Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift, and Patrick Mahomes may have been, for the Huskers, there's no place like home.

Nebraska is ready for Saturday night's home opener, which begins a stretch of five straight home games for the Huskers, keeping the Big Red in Lincoln through mid-October.

"I can't wait," Head Coach Matt Rhule said. "I don't know if there's anything better than a night game at Memorial Stadium... I love Memorial Stadium and I love being at home."

"To come out the tunnel, tunnel walk, the whole game day experience, it's all second to none," quarterback Dylan Raiola said. "There's no reason why the top recruits and top players in the country wouldn't want to come play here."

Nebraska hosts the Akron Zips for their week two home opener. The Zips fell to Wyoming 10-0 in their season opener.

Kick off is set for 6:30 CT.
