Nude Iowa man arrested in Madison County with stolen motorcycle and drugs, authorities say

NORFOLK, Neb. — A traffic stop for defective trailer lights turned into a bizarre arrest early Sunday when deputies say they found a nude driver hauling a stolen motorcycle and drug paraphernalia.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy spotted a pickup with Iowa plates pulling a flatbed trailer without working lights around 1 a.m. on Highway 81 north of Norfolk. The driver continued for a short distance before stopping on Northeast Industrial Highway.
When the deputy approached, he found the driver — identified as Kipp Polston, 47, of Iowa — naked, using a pair of pants to cover himself. Polston allegedly told the deputy he was “hot” and “allergic to his own sweat.”
Authorities said Polston’s license was suspended and his alertness began to deteriorate during the stop. After regaining composure, he was arrested for driving under suspension. Deputies said he admitted having “a pipe and dab” in the truck, slang for marijuana concentrates.
A news release says a search turned up a container of suspected THC concentrate, a marijuana water pipe with burnt residue, and a pistol case containing a BB gun with obscured serial numbers.
The trailer was carrying two motorcycles. One was reported stolen and the other was registered to a different Iowa resident.
Deputies said Polston resisted arrest, dropping to the ground and claiming claustrophobia before a second deputy arrived to help transport him.
Polston was booked into the Madison County Jail on charges including theft, possession of a controlled substance, driving under suspension, resisting arrest, and defective vehicle lighting. His vehicle, trailer and both motorcycles were impounded.
The Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed.
