FREMONT, Neb. — Emergency crews have now recovered the bodies of all three people killed in a massive explosion in south Fremont.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday night that authorities recovered the remains of two girls in the wreckage of the Horizon BioFuels plant. They discovered the body of 32-year-old Dylan Danielson of Columbus a few hours earlier. Officials previously said Danielson worked at the facility and the two girls were his daughters. Mayor Joey Spellerberg said they were waiting for their dad to finish work before going to a doctor’s appointment.

Sheriff’s officials are not releasing the names of the girls.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office is still investigating the cause of the explosion, which rocked the area around noon on Tuesday.

According to a news release, all roads that are currently closed will remain closed until further notice. In the release, sheriff’s officials thanked the public for their support and generosity but said donations are no longer needed.
