Nebraska Shrine Bowl Announces Coaching Staffs for 2026

LINCOLN, Neb — The Nebraska Shrine Bowl Executive Board has announced the coaching staff for the 68th Annual Nebraska Shrine Bowl.
Bennington head coach Kameron Lenhart will lead the North team. Under Lenhart, the Badgers have become a Class B powerhouse, winning multiple state titles and producing college-level talent.
Seward head coach Jamie Opfer will guide the South team. Opfer has led Seward to consistent postseason success and is known for developing disciplined, fundamentally strong teams.
“We are honored to have two of Nebraska’s finest high school coaches leading our Shrine Bowl teams,” said Dr. Jon Cerny, executive director of the Nebraska Shrine Bowl. “Kameron Lenhart and Jamie Opfer exemplify competitive excellence, integrity and a passion for helping young people succeed on and off the field.”
The Nebraska Shrine Bowl is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Ron and Carol Cope Stadium on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus.
