Severe weather likely Thursday into Friday

NORFOLK, Neb.- An intense weather system may be moving through Thursday evening and into Friday.
There is a chance of strong thunderstorms that might produce hail, damaging wind gusts, and possibly tornados.
Wind gusts could get up to 70 miles per hour. Hail up to 2 inches in diameter which is roughly the size of a golf ball. As well as localized heavy rain probably.
The storms are more likely to become clusters and lines with high wind gust as Thursday night progresses.
The NWS says the time of greatest threat is from 3-11 p.m.
There is up to a 9% chance of a tornado Thursday evening.
"Individual storms form and intensify between 3 -7 PM in northeast Nebraska. Storms converge into a line by 7 PM and accelerate to the southeast. Storms approach Omaha/Lincoln metro areas between 9-11 PM," according to the NWS briefing from 1 pm on Thursday
With another round of strong storms likely Friday afternoon into evening across southeast Nebraska.
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch through Friday morning for the following Nebraska counties:
-Burt, Butler, Cedar, Colfax, Cuming, Dodge, Douglas, Madison, Pierce, Platte, Sarpy, Saunders, Stanton, Thurston, Washington, and Wayne,
As well as a Tornado Watch until 10 p.m. Thursday for the following Nebraska counties:
ANTELOPE, BOONE, BURT, BUTLER, CEDAR, COLFAX, CUMING, CUSTER, DAKOTA, DIXON, DODGE, DOUGLAS, GARFIELD, GREELEY, HOLT, HOWARD, KNOX, LOUP, MADISON, MERRICK, NANCE, PIERCE, PLATTE, POLK, ROCK, SARPY, SAUNDERS, SHERMAN, STANTON, HURSTON, VALLEY, WASHINGTON, WAYNE, AND WHEELER.
