SIDNEY, Neb. - The 2025 Nebraska High School Track and Field season fired off the line Friday at the annual John Ganser Invite at Weymouth Field in Sidney, Neb.

Junior Lance Holly from Sidney secured first place finishes in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.74 and in the 400 meter dash at 52.58.

The Raiders also swept the 4x100 meter and 4x400 meter relays on their way to a team title. 

Sidney junior Keian Kaiser, making his debut in shot put, won the event with a toss of 37'0.5". With a throw of 120'11", Alek Doty from Sidney earned first place in discus.

Kash Knobbe from Sidney cleared 6'2" to claim victory in high jump.

Other Red Raider champions include Kanon Palmer (pole vault) and Landon Riddle (long jump).

Axton Stone representing Gering  dominated the 1600 meter race, finishing in 4:34.

The Bulldogs also secured gold in the 110 meter hurdles. Creighton Beals navigated the hurdles efficiently, winning with a time of 15.41.

Ogallala and Sidney topped the girls standings. ?

The Indians finished with golds from Aniston O'Neil (200 meters), Story Rasby (400 meters), Alydia Wang (3200 meters), Shaydyn Rasby (100 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles), Eva Drauker (long jump) and the 4x400 meter relay. 

Regan Nesbitt led Sidney with first place finish in discus with a throw of 99'5".

Rylan Misegadis, representing the Lady Raiders, achieved a winning distance of 32'5.75" in triple jump.

Leyton senior Zaili Benish sprinted to victory in the 100 meter dash at 13.04 and won the 800 meters in 2:37.
