LINCOLN, Neb. – The Johnson-Brock Eagles stayed consistent throughout the title game to three-peat as Class D1 champions over Howells-Dodge 61-46.

Both teams shot the basketball well in the first half, with each team making five three-pointers, as Johnson-Brock (29-1) led at the halftime break 30-24. 

Howells-Dodge (24-6) had the best three point performance, shooting 9-18 (50%) from behind the arc. 

The Eagle's big three in Camden Dalinghaus, Casen Dalinghaus, and Brody Koehler combined for 47 points as each player was part of the previous two state title teams. 

Howells-Dodge was led by Hunter Luther's 10 points, and had six players score at least six points.

The Jaguars finished as runners-up for the second time in school history.
