LINCOLN - Crofton gained a manner of revenge on 2024's Class C2 state champ

Many of the players were different, but the names on the front of the jersey were the same as last year, when Yutan upset the previously unbeaten Warriors in the title game.

This time, Crofton got the better of the Chieftains in the quarterfinals, dominating in a 53-28 win.

The Warriors never trailed. Their stifling defense held Yutan to just 31% shooting from the field - including a 1-for-10 performance from deep - and forced 26 turnovers, which translated into 30 Crofton points.
