FORT MORGAN, Colo. — A Fort Morgan, Colorado man was arrested this week following an investigation into child pornography, authorities said.

According to the Fort Morgan Police Department, detectives received two cyber tips in mid-January regarding potential child pornography linked to a single IP address in the Fort Morgan area. The tips, forwarded through law enforcement channels, alleged that at least 86 images and videos of young children in explicit content had been distributed.

Detectives quickly obtained a search warrant for a residence believed to be connected to the case. The warrant was executed within a week of the initial tips, allowing officers to seize multiple electronic devices suspected of being used for viewing and sharing illicit material.

A forensic examination of those devices led investigators to a social media account believed to have been used to distribute child pornography. Detectives secured a second search warrant for that account, and by late February, they had gathered further evidence.

On March 3, detectives uncovered more than 500 links—primarily video files—containing graphic content involving young children. Investigators immediately sought and obtained an arrest warrant for 33-year-old Corey Stacy.

Stacy was taken into custody the following day and is currently being held at the Morgan County Detention Center, awaiting his initial court appearance.

Authorities stress that all charges are accusations at this stage, and Stacy is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
