JOHNSON, NE - The Johnson-Brock girls basketball team broke the hearts of Valentine on Friday, punching their ticket to the State Tournament with a 65-15 win in the District C2-1 Finals, as heard on B103.

JOHNSON, NE - The Johnson-Brock girls basketball team broke the hearts of Valentine on Friday, punching their ticket to the State Tournament with a 65-15 win in the District C2-1 Finals, as heard on B103.
Valentine hit half its free throws (6/12), while Johnson-Brock struggled at the line (7/20). The Eagles got a big performance from Taryn Ottemann, who sunk 22, while Brooklyn Behrends & Chloe Vice each ended up with eleven. The Badgers' Aiden Hand & Aubrey Benson led their squad with just four points.
Valentine's season ends with a record of 8-17, while Johnson-Brock moves on to State as the top-seed in Class C2. They'll have a 9 a.m. tip-off in their opening game of the State Tourney Thursday, March 6, on B103.
