Johnson-Brock Wins Subdistrict D1-1 Boys Basketball Title Over Southern

JOHNSON, NE - The top-ranked Eagles of Johnson-Brock soared to a 69-46 victory over Southern in the Subdistrict D1-1 Championship Game Thursday, as heard on B103.
The Eagles trailed 14-10 at the end of the opening stanza, but they stormed back for a 30-23 lead at the break. They built that seven-point lead to an 18-point margin after three quarters and coasted from there.
JB was led by Brody Koehler's 28 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. All of Koehler's points came from the field. Camden Dalinghaus helped out with eleven. The team went 9/13 at the free throw line, and they hit an impressive 64% from inside the 3-point line.
The Southern season ends with a record of 11-13, while Johnson-Brock is now 25-1 heading into the District Finals. The Eagles are the top seed and will host Blue Hill at 4 p.m. on Saturday. That game will be broadcast on B103 & B103.FM.
